Original, atmospheric, twisted: all of these words sum up the Nihil Locus mCD rather nicely. The atmosphere created here is bound to be legendary! It ranges from absolutely dark and light to almost GRINDING in its sheer heaviness. The massive guitar productions combined with the heavy as fuck vocals (like old Ancient Rites almost - but darker) only add to the whole deal. And for once a band utilizes Burzum style screaming in proper fashion - by using it as a secondary vocal style!

A great fusion of evil metal styles indeed. They pull off the atmospheric stuff VERY nicely (acoustic guitars, light keyboards…are those flutes?) but then the deep sounding guitars blast in with various catchy drum beats! I can't currently compare this to anyone, but if you're in the market for some unique, enjoyable, but blatantly DARK metal, then 'ADRO' will no doubt be your cup of tea (or beer?).
