'Friday the 13th' influenced cover artwork on this slab of vinyl - except I don't think Jason ever had long hair or wore fur! Not too many bands have ever tried pulling off horror film influenced artwork. Avulsed on their 'Carnivoracity' 7" had what was probably that nice fellow who was eating everyone's skin in the first 'Hellraiser' flick at least…

Anyway, German thrash here - and it's solid stuff. You could usually count on bands sporting Possessed shirts and bullet belts to come up with violent thrash around '86, and that's exactly what you'll get if you track this down. "Destructive Solution" especially kills - crunchy, heavy evil thrash not unlike Iron Angel.

Everything here is typically German, but the production is great, and the music is pleasant to listen to in a metal sort of a way. I can't quite remember, but I think they grabbed another vocalist on their follow up to this (which was re-released as a split with another band…Angel Dust maybe?), which was much more Slayer influenced. Regardless, 'Possessed by Fire' kills.
