One of my favourite CD's. I heard of this Southern Ontario act a few years ago with a live show and always hoped I'd run across their CD. I never found that first CD yet, with their video song "Master of Action". I found this! Their second! Catchy, upbeat metal. The redhead chick Nicole sings clean and "girly" and as pointed out, is Ozzy-influenced (duh, I should've guessed that, she's wearing an Ozzy t shirt). Mark Holman (ex-Missing Link/Kingpin/trigger Happy) I read is the man trying to still push his pop sensibility, thankfully Nicole tries to make it more brutal and remind him of all the metal shows he used to go to. What we end up with is cool heavy metal, that's zippy, catchy, with a slight thrashy feel in spots. This will definitely be too "happy" for the average black/death metaller.

Summary: imagine Ozzy (Blizzard/Diary) and the newer Megadeth/Metallica guitar sound. Party on Wayne! Party on Garth! Request Bloodflame on yer radio and music video shows.
