Though Mr. Darken's heart is in the right place this CD fails to capture me. Some of the melodies are quite good and have a feeling that makes one think of times in the distant past but if you aren't a big fan of folk music (I guess you could call it that) I can't see very many being stunned by this release. Gotta be in the mood for this is basically what I'm saying. Most of the time I'm not in the mood for this hence the negative vibe.
