Kreator
Pleasure To Kill
[Noise]
I liked Kreator's Debut Endless pain but this totally made me spazz out
when this was released. They moved into the heavyweight division with
'Pleasure To Kill'. More violent, more faster, meaner than "Endless Pain",
this was an underground classic . They had a style of their own, its kind
of hard to make comparisons to other bands in terms of how they sounded
(speed/power metal... Later day Sodom meets Destruction perhaps ?). Mille
had a great voice (didn't like Ventor's as much) and was quite adept in
coming up with some ultra heavy tunes. All I can say they were German and
they kicked ass in the severest manner. My favourite tracks are : 'Pleasure
To Kill', "The Pestilence' and 'Carrion'. On this release you also get the
amazing "Flag Of Hate" EP. The increase in technicality and a more polished
sound that you would later go on to hear on their "Terrible Certainty" CD
first showed signs on this release. Best song ever by Kreator comes in the
form of 'Take Their Lives' (crushing riff). Devastatingly heavy, a
must-have for the collection!!!
