In Battle
[Napalm]
Total one dimensional attack based on speed. Setherial project methinks but
who they are matters very little to me. Basically modern black metal revved
up but with a certain blandness / sameness. Everything passes you before
you notice it. Rare is the moment where you are grabbed by a particular
riff. Little atmosphere to hold one's attention. Just a blur, sort of like
Immortal's 'Battles In The North' except it's less wall of sound than that
album and there is slightly more variance in their compositions. Here is a
CD where the emphasis on speed has taken away from it's power. Pretty
ho-hum to me but if you're a speed freak go for it but if you find yourself
stifling a yawn, don't say I didn't warn you.
