Entombed
Black Juju
[Man's Ruin]
I haven't followed the progress of Entombed the past few years. They are no
longer deathly. I guess they haven't been deathly for a long time,
'Clandestine' I would say. This CD is quite rocking. Yes, that's true
...rocking. Fat rock riffs take the place of those that were once down tuned
via the late great Slaughter. It's almost a violent form of rock played in
a punishing style. Best songs are 'Mesmerization Eclipse'(badass riff
that's totally tough sounding) and the amazing 'Tear it
Loose'(chainsaw-esque guitar sound is supremo). L.G Petrov does some
serious hollering. Welcome back L.G. Four originals and four covers(the
Dwarves cover stinks though) for those willing to deviate from a strict
diet of metal.
