Joyless
Unlimited Hate
[No Colours]

Heavily thrash influenced black metal. Not like Gehennah, Bewitched (Swe.) or stuff like that . . but thrashy nonetheless. Songs have a Forgotten Woodsy feel and the vocals vary from being yelled fairly clearly to the tortured, I've-just-had-my-nuts-torn-off-with-plyers vocals that are known and loved from Joyless' Forgotten Woods days. Actually, the last three songs could've been released as a Forgotten Woods ep, because they are pretty much Forgotten Woods songs. Production is clear, but not overproduced . . drums still have a natural sound that is so sweet for black metal and the guitars are trebly, also good for black metal. Recommended unless you don't like a bit of thrash in your black metal buritto.
