Stormlord
Where My Spirit Forever Shall Be
[Last Episode]
A 'preview' of their full length CD, Supreme Art Of War, -Where My
Spirit Forever Shall Be- contains two rehearsal tracks and one demo
version from the aforementioned debut. Obviously, the production and
sound are lessened to a degree, the musicianship remains as great as it
was present on the full length, the only aspect of the music that has
changed, other then the recording limitations, enough to warrant even a
slight mention are the vocals, in some cases taking on a more
'traditional' black metal approach, yet still remaining true to those on
-Supreme Art Of War-.
The two rehearsal tracks, 'Where My Spirit Forever Shall Be' and 'War
(The Supreme Art)' are accompanied by a demo version of the instrumental
'Sir Lorial'. The packaging is simple, a two page fold-out with two live
shots of band members, one could argue if you have -Supreme Art Of War-
the only reason to seek this album out would be to hear the early
rehearsal and demo recording(s) of the band before the full length
release, or for collection purposes.
For those unfamiliar with Stormlord I strongly recommend -Supreme Art Of
War-, although if it is unavailable for the time, -Where My Spirit
Forever Shall Be- serves as a good substitute and preview of what awaits
you if you choose to seek out the debut full length.
