Blood Storm
The Atlantean Wardragon
[Cacophonous]
With a level of brutality outlawed in 50 states (thus the distribution
by Cacophonous in London), Blood Storm deliver raw, ugly black metal with
no signs of compromise.
Drawing some comparison to Dark Throne, with metal heavy brooding songs
similar to some of Darkthrone's material on -Goatlord,-
although Blood Storm also have a knack for chaotic storm bringing madness
when they decide to speed the music up, although not hitting the hyper
blasting speed of Dark Funeral, Marduk, or Emperor, the sound is much
heavier, not slowed to the point of labeling it as 'doom', a natural
heaviness caused by the excessive wrecking of the ears by instrument
mutilation.
From -Spell Of The Burned Wind-, to -Destroyer- or the title track, each
contains as much rage and madness as the other, real brutality, giving
credibility to a word used to cover up excessive boredom by other bands.
