Totally dig the opening number ('Vampyria) on this CD. A cool song I must say, I like it's almost Rotting Christ-like riff and the female vocals are tolerable but this album is typically Swedish if you know what I mean. It's decent though and that's something cause I'm not a big fan of melodic black metal. There is some slightly folkish rhythms as well in their music. Dude vocals are growly, chick vocals are contrasting, a slightly overused concept I would say. Every song is sort of fast paced and the hook is the melody, not particularly heavy or powerful as the raw stuff (that's where me heart lies) . Was going watch porn to this CD (once watched a chick getting banged from behind to My Dying Brides' Sear Me!!! hahaha!!!) but decided against it cause porn would have a greater grasp on my attention. It be unfair to Siebenburgen, but who said life was fair...
