And thus Phil Grasso of STEEL ASSASSINs fame returns with a new project and rides on the forefront of a new wave of real Heavy Metal that has been coming up since the mid 90s... MADD HUNTER is simply Metal, sometimes straight forward ("On the Road..."), sometimes mystical ("Four Horsemen") but always powerful and light years ahead of these guitar wankers who are sold as "Power Metal" these days. Phil (who's doing everything by himself save drums courtesy by Barry Spillberg, ex WARGASM) may not be the most brilliant vocalist on Earth and he's not playing a thousand notes per minute but he has a distinct style and boy, he can write some catchy songs...!!! As a teaser for MADD HUNTER, just listen to "Burn Witch Burn" and you'll know what I mean. If you're not into this you truly are beyond salvation....
