As much as Im friend with Akhenaten, I never really dug his band. I don't know where this comes in his discography but it sounds like all the other JUDAS ISCARIOT stuff I've heard over the years. Basically one could describe it as variations on the themes MAYHEM used on "De Mysteriis dom Sathanas". Sometimes it's a cool riff, but unlike MAYHEM I always have the impression that here good ideas were just filled up with typical norsecore riffing to complete another album. Know what I mean ? If you'd compile all the good moments of 3 JUDAS ISCARIOT CDs you'll get the one follow up CD to "De Mysteriis..." It's not really bad, and much like THY INFERNAL it's without all these gay keyboards and stuff, but I feel it could be much better if Ak wouldn't do 4 different bands but concentrate on JUDAS ISCARIOT to make it something special instead.
