I remember reading about this that it sounded like a bad demo recording, and well although the sound isn't exactly their best, it is far from being as bad as that. I've always liked Alastis, but they have never really done anything for me... I like them but I don't love them, worship them or anything, they lack one important thing... a feel in their music, none of their albums have that, so they do not rise above just being good and nothing else, to bad because they have loads of potential...
