Dunkelgrafen
Im Schatten Der Ewigkeit
[Last Episode]
Possibly one of the most confusing (retarded) black metal albums to ever come out of my stereo. The way the drums are played, and their production, only adds to the stupidity of this album. Did this idiot learn to play the drums the night before entering the studio? Just how drunk were the guitarists when they were laying down these tracks? Is the vocalist trying to do an impression of wind blowing through my window? These are just a few of the questions you'll ask yourself while listening to this good-for-nothing CD.
Starting out with one of the silliest album covers ever, the CD itself actually opens with a fine intro. VERY fine actually, and the vocals sound extremely promising. I couldn't wait to see what the band would do with actual guitars and drums! The rest of the album sounds like my toilet flushing, amazingly enough.
As most of you know, I rarely grade a band on their technical skills, the production, or even if the music can be listened to. Sadly, Dunkelgrafen are a fucking joke to me. The production is fitting of my washing machine, not a metal album. The song structures go nowhere. And I just wasted another forty minutes of my life.
