I got this tape as a bonus to a mail order, and I'd like to thank Juris from Beverina Productions for handpicking a worthy band for me. I'd like to also compliment Abhor on the great production and professionally done cover. By the way, Abhor's music also deserves much praise. This Italian band delivers incredibly atmospheric dark/doom/black metal, and this particular tape includes, besides prologue and epilogue, three prime examples of that. Slow/medium tempo, well-crafted keyboard passages and skillful chord structures allow the band to build up somber and powerful songs, with the title track being especially impressive. To be exact, the music is not one hundred percent original, but it has quality written all over it. I look forward to hearing more from this band.
