This is the latest from the most brutal band from Sweden: fuckin' DERANGED!
(Thanks for the tape, Rikard!) The band has parted ways with Repulse Records
and released III through Sweden's own Listenable Records. Doubtless,
this will sell like hot cakes.
III is the best Deranged record yet. Rikard's drumming is better than ever and the new vocalist does a commendable job belting out the growls. Blood drips from all thirteen tracks of this destructive album. "Laugh at Human Tragedies" is a particularly memorable song, as well as "Deathtripping", "Festering, "Thrillkill", the intriguing title track and "Razor(erection). Violence runs rampant. And who doesn't love those trademark Deranged guitar squeals? This band rules.
As always, you can count on Deranged for a solid brutal death metal release worth picking up. If you can't find this one in the stores, write to the Listenable Records or the band. Brutality reigns supreme!
