Autumn Leaves
Embraced by the Absolute
[Serious Entertainment]
Autumn Leaves is one of the most impressive bands I've heard in a long time.
Formed in '92 under the name of Decrial, & releasing one demo under that name
'Desires Unfold', after a line-up change they renamed themselves Autumn
Leaves in '94. Autumn Leaves demo 'Hope Springs Eternal' was released in '95.
'Embraced by the Absolute' is their debut CD. Brutal vocals, that bludgeon
throughout the entire CD. Powerful bass lines, pounding rhythms, intensifying
solos. 'Embraced by the Absolute' draws the listener in & makes you want more
& more. Autumn Leaves has extremely serious lyrics dealing with all kinds of
subjects. 'Embraced by the Absolute' packaging is out of the norm too,
beautiful scenic pictures throughout the CD booklet, but don't let that
misled you just because they can appreciate something beautiful doesn't mean
that their weak in any manner.. All ten trax on this CD kick major ass.
'Embraced by the Absolute' is an instrumental that shows their talent quite
well. I can't express enough how impressed I was by this CD. It's a definite
must for all Death lovers. I hope Autumn Leaves tours the states soon.
