Sweden's Unpure kick this CD off with rocking old school black metal - early style Mayhem. Next band is Abigor who bore the hell out of you with a crappy number that sounds like a rejected song from their incredibly crappy Nachthymnen days. Nastrond revive you from that brief comatose period induced by the previous song with a cool demo track from '94. Too bad about 'Age of Fire'CD though. Korova have an interesting track following Nastrond's onslaught. Very cool twist and turns of weird atmospheric dark metal. Summoning follow that up with some straight forward rawness that was recorded at their home. Mid-paced in it's approach and probably one of the best tracks on the disc. Cool build up to Setherial's 'My Veins Are Open' track. It's kinda crammed too much but still a decent Dissection inspired track. Lots o' melody present. One man band Belmez finishes off the disc in fine fashion with a slow and heavy tune topped off with some great growls. Coolamundo man!!! Grab this CD cause it's a worthy addition to the collection. One of the better comps out there, I would say.
