A four song CD that has to grow on you. The music is way cool with it's suppressed production, riffing and speed, but the drums are a little too high in the mix. Bleak, raw sounding, and evil. I can't really compare this to any other solo projects. Atrox's sick groaning vocals create a doomy atmosphere, yet are still decipherable.

This CD is worth getting if you pursue totally underground, totally sincere black metal. It took a few months to get used to the drum machine sound and mix, but I love it now. No real drummer could keep the pace set here, and with tracks like "Only War And Hate Survived" and "May I Be Laid To Rest", the mood is set to kill all the stupid bastards who shop where I work. Hail Atrox!
