This is the type of metal I like. It's old-school death metal, not far off from the Kansas area sound via old Order from Chaos or Nepenthe (mid-paced), but the black metal influences (early as well) shine through. I spot a Master's Hammer shirt (and an Unclean one), so I assume that would be correct. Everything from demo Rotting Christ, to pre-orchestral Master's Hammer. The vocals are very black at least.

Simply put, this album fucking crushes. It really is super-heavy, and the crunchy, morbid, and darkly thought out riffs will please all metal cretins. Packaging is superb too. Evil metal, and top marks at that!
