Very harsh is the first thing that comes to mind when listening to this disc. The production brought the vocals (if you could call them that, more like animalistic growls) up front with bass while the drums kept a steady background rhythm. A doomy (take that as mid-paced and slowish) raw form of black metal that concentrated on atmosphere. Even trancy at times. The band's sound is similar to that of the more well known Necromantia but overall the Finns are a much better band because their music doesn't have the campy horror elements those Greek bastards have. Very dark, JET BLACK as the band like to refer to their brand of black metal. Nothing commercial about this at all.
