A somewhat varied release, including tunes reminiscent of traditional metal (Grim Reaper) mixed with blackmetal, heathen folk tunes with good vox (mostly) for a change, folkish key orchestration tunes, and the coolest folky tune heard in a long time .. a somber, and too short all-acoustic guitar piece. The folk tunes on this release have a darker sound than your normal usually upbeat sounding folk influences - which is eminently more satisfying to this metal fan.
