Ahh, The Ancients Rebirth. A fucking cool name! Cthulhu, Yog-Sothoth, Nyarlathotep where are you when we need you? Hear the cries of your faithful servants!!! If you like the technical aspects of Dissection's music but wish for something with less of a happy/bouncy feel to it then the Ancients Rebirth may be your cup o' tea. There are some similarities of a minor note but overall The Ancients Rebirth bring forth an ultimately heavier brand of music as there's less emphasis on melody. They're varied in their pace of their punishment as they can slow it down and pound with heavy handed riffs or peel back the skin with a blistering speed. By mentioning Dissection I've probably sent many a Raw-head scurrying but they actually have an almost Norwegian approach to the Swedish style and are worth your while to check out. One last thing, what's up with the title of the CD?
