This is the follow-up to Algaion's decent CD on Fullmoon Prod; and a vast improvement it is....compared to other Swedish bands that play this style at least. Peter Tägtgren takes care of the drums this time around-thus adding a bit speedier sound. Yes, this is Swedish black metal, and musically it is basically the same as any other group of Swedes out there (although the melodies created here are better) but luckily the vocals here are heavily screamed, and for the most part quite original. There's really not much to say about this release; it's musically solid, runs for a good 20 min, won't disappoint any fans of Swedish black/death metal....but that country simply doesn't do anything for me in terms of metal music. Not bad though.
